Led by Award-winning Wildlife Photographer Wolfgang Kaehler
The Pantanal of Brazil is often overshadowed in reputation by the Amazonian rainforest, but this unique ecosystem contains an enormous variety and number of wildlife species. The word Pantanal is derived from a Portuguese word for marsh, and in fact this huge wetland is critically important to a number of rare and endangered species.
Wolfgang Kaehler, BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year award-winner, will lead this photo safari, intended to maximize your chances of getting the best possible photography. We’ll stay in excellently-run small lodges, and explore this rich region in-depth.
Our trip is designed for the nature photographer. We’ll have excellent chances to photograph jaguars, giant river otters, capybaras, monkeys, huge caimans, and a wide variety of tropical birds such as parakeets, macaws, storks and waterbirds.
Join us on this spectacular South American photo safari with an award-winning wildlife photographer, Wolfgang Kaehler!
