If you are fortunate enough to take a cruise on the beautiful, yacht-like Callisto, here is a small sampling of pictures that give you an idea of what you will experience aboard the ship. This ship only holds 34 passengers, so the cruising experience is very different than what you would encounter on a larger ship.
One advantage to cruising on a smaller ship is that the ship can navigate into waters that are simply not accessible to larger ships. The International Wildlife Adventures cruise called “Into Africa” is a good example. This cruise follows the West Coast of the continent, from Freetown in Sierra Leone to Dakar. Thanks to the smaller size of the ship, one of the excursions that the ship is able to make is a trip up the Saloum River in Senegal to the fishing village of Fadiout, where the houses are built of crushed shells. This is an experience that most people in the world will never have!
