The Okavango River delta is one of Botswana's signature safari attractions. This vast river begins in the Angolan highlands and winds its way through northern Botswana. But it's a completely landlocked river: as it flows into the Kalahari Desert, it vanishes. The result is one of the world's largest inland river deltas which forms an intricate network of islands and waterways teeming with wildlife.

This trip is designed to explore the birding and wildlife watching paradise of this vast delta. You'll explore these areas by vehicle, boat and walking. Like our other Botswana trips, it begins with a visit to famed Victoria Falls, then you're off to two excellent camps located deep within the Okavango.
