Your Galapagos trip starts with two nights in Quito, Ecuador, the World Heritage city that sits high in the Andes. You will stay at a five-star hotel, located near Old Town in this historic city.  The day after your arrival, your trip starts with a guided half day city tour of Quito.  Or add on a day trip to the famous Otavalo Market to shop for high quality hand crafted leather and fabric goods.

On the third day, you will fly to Baltra or San Cristobal, where you'll board the elegant M/Y Grace, named after her late owner, Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco. This 145 feet / 44 meter Camper & Nicholson yacht has traversed the waters worldwide and offers superb accommodations for 18 guests in 9 staterooms. Quito, situated in a circle of mountainous peaks, is the world's second highest capital and has one of the most magnificent settings in the world. Designated as a UN World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978, Quito boasts one of the finest colonial centers in Latin America. Spend a half-day with your private guide exploring the spectacular city.

The Otavalo Indian Market Day Trip
Otavalo is the most famous Indian market in Ecuador and much of South America: ponchos, exquisite sweaters, wool rugs, leatherwork, wooden goods, and Indian jewelry are sold here. The Otavalo Indians, for whom the town is named, cling proudly to their ancient culture and mode of dress. This is a must see visit. Contact us for this optional day trip pricing.
