Your Galapagos 11 day trip aboard M/Y Grace starts with two nights in Quito, Ecuador, the World Heritage city that sits high in the Andes. You will stay at a five-star hotel, located near Old Town in this historic city.  The day after your arrival, your trip starts with a guided half day city tour of Quito.  Or add on a day trip to the famous Otavalo Market to shop for high quality hand crafted leather and fabric goods.

On the third day, you will fly to Baltra or San Cristobal, where you'll board the elegant M/Y Grace, named after her late owner, Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco. This 145 feet / 44 meter Camper & Nicholson yacht has traversed the waters worldwide and offers superb accommodations for 18 guests in 9 staterooms. Designated as a UN World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978, Quito boasts one of the finest colonial centers in Latin America. Spend a half-day with your private guide exploring the spectacular city.

Otavalo is the most famous Indian market in Ecuador and much of South America: ponchos, exquisite sweaters, wool rugs, leatherwork, wooden goods, and Indian jewelry are sold here. Package prices are USD and include: Three nights luxury hotel accomodations in Quito, airport transfers, Quito city tour, cruise, meals while on cruise, use of snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, and all guide services.

Not included: Round trip airfare to and from Galapagos, park entrance fee, transit fee, gratuities, airport departure taxes, visas or passports, laundry or personal items while on the ship, alcoholic beverages, air fare to and from your home, and travel insurance.

Round trip air to Galapagos from Quito or Guayaquil, park entrance fee and transit fee is $645 per person, subject to change.  

Single supplements:  Prices are based on double occupancy. The single supplement is 75% over the cruise rate. (100% during Christmas, New Years, and Easter)

Family Departures:  Children under 15 years of age pay 15% off of the full rate when accompanied by an adult. (Maximum 2 child discounts per family)

Surcharges: Christmas, New Years and Easter week cruise surcharge is $500 per person.

The Otavalo Indian Market Day Trip

This day-long outing includes: a scenic three-hour drive from Quito, morning at Otavalo market, visit to the famous leatherwork village of Cotacachi, and a stop for lunch at beautiful Hacienda Cusin.

Price: $250 per person based on 2 traveling. 

All prices per person, based on double occupancy  Fuel tax surcharges may be applicable.

Tour Details

Registration: Deposit: $1,000 per person non-refundable deposit due at time of booking. 

Cancellation Policy: Non-refundable balance due 90 days prior to travel dates. 

Insurance:  Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the running of this trip, we must adhere to the above policy. In addition, please be aware that many insurance policies do not cover illness and accident expenses outside of the U.S., and Medicare does NOT cover any such expenses at all. In light of this, we strongly recommend trip cancellation and supplemental insurance.
