The Callisto

Privileged Mediterranean Yachting for Just 34 Guests
The finest, most memorable voyages take place aboard a luxurious private yacht, where one is part of a small, select, sociable community. Cabins resemble guest rooms in a fine home-beautifully furnished, comfortably arranged, and complete with the amenities that one would expect from a thoughtful host. Public areas are furnished with rich fabrics, handsome woodwork, gleaming brass, antiques and fine works of art-whether indoor or out, they have been crafted as warm, inviting places where friends meet for conversation and refreshments, or to spend a pleasant hour with a good book.

A Private Yacht Experience
This is the exceptional experience aboard Callisto. The guest list is limited to no more than 34-a group large enough to bring together an interesting mix of travelers, but small enough to foster a genuine spirit of camaraderie. All 17 cabins are exterior with large windows (portholes on Daphne Deck) that look out on the sea; they are air-conditioned and feature generous storage space, a telephone, two-channel radio, satellite TV, VCR/DVD, refrigerator, and a marble bathroom with shower. The yacht's public areas include an elegant restaurant; a spacious lounge and bar; a library and Internet center surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows; two broad decks for sunbathing; and a swimming platform at the ship's stern.

Sublime Dining
Callisto's dining staff takes full advantage of the ship's small size and navigational dexterity to create superb dining experiences-each and every day. Callisto's steward and kitchen staff requisition fresh provisions from many ports of call. So you will enjoy just-baked bread, caught-that-day fish, and all of the very ripest produce from the local markets, resulting in menus of classic regional specialties as well as creative Continental fare. With such a small number of guests, the expert European chefs can devote their complete attention to each individual dish, and accommodate any dietary requirements. Fine regional wines are complimentary with lunch and dinner. Meals are served at a single, unassigned seating in the elegantly-styled dining room, surrounded by large picture windows; on pleasant days meals may be enjoyed al fresco on the broad sundecks.

An Uncommon Itinerary
Callisto's guests enjoy an advantage that eludes travelers aboard larger vessels: her small size allows visits to unspoiled islets, pristine beaches and intimate coves inaccessible to larger cruise liners. The yacht is also able to obtain the most convenient berths in each of our destinations. You will never need to see a large industrial dockyard- Callisto is always able to dock in marinas adjacent to town centers for ultimate convenience.
