Day 1: Arrival into St. Johns, Newfoundland
On arrival you will be picked up and taken to your downtown, St. John's hotel. If time permits there will be a slide show.
O/N St. John’s
Day 2: Whale Watching/ Puffins/ Fishing Villages
We will start our day with a boat trip to the largest puffin colony in North America along with thousands of other sea birds. This area usually has an abundance of humpback whales. Occasionally other species of whales are spotted too. After lunch on land, we will visit the charming local fishing villages. B,L
O/N St. John’s
Day 3: Avalon Wilderness Area
As we circle the Avalon Wilderness area we will likely see a small puffin colony, whales, caribou and seals. Occasionally we get to see the unique spectacle of whales lunge feeding on the local beaches. Local coastal fishing villages offer the charm of the old world. Traveling along the coast will not only offer amazing scenery but moose and caribou. B,L
O/N St. Brides
Day 4: Bird colonies - Sea Stacks and Lighthouses
Our day is going to start with the continent's third largest gannet colony. As well as gannets there are thousands of other sea birds such as kittiwakes and murres nesting on the cliffs with their chicks. The day will continue along the coast where we will see whales from shore, spectacular light houses, moose and our secret orchid patch! B,L
O/N Trinity/Bonavista
Day 5: Trinity Bay
Today we find ourselves in Trinity Bay starting the day with a boat trip watching for whales. After we depart the boat, there is time to look around the picturesque community. In the afternoon there is time for walking the trails, lighthouses, icebergs, wild flowers, beachcombing, kayaking--just about anything YOU want to do. B,L
O/N Trinity/Bonavista
Day 6: Bonavista/Trinity
Today there is time to explore the historic Bonavista/Trinity area. From shore you will see 15,000 year old icebergs from Greenland and whales breeching in the waters. We will explore the unique culture of the area before returning to St. John's for an overnight. B,L

Day 7: Eastern edge
As we travel to the most easterly point of North America exploring trails and historic attractions we may have opportunities to spot more whales from shore. If time permits we will try to get in another boat ride. B, L

Day 8: Departure
Free time in St. John's to hike to Signal Hill or the back alley's before we take you to the airport. B
