In addition to exploring the islands, you'll visit the Ecuadorian highlands of Otavalo and the depths of the pristine Amazonian rainforest in a excellent, comfortable jungle lodge. Sacha Lodge is built on a deep, cool freshwater lake surrounded by primary rainforest with trees hundreds of feet tall. A network of land and canoe trails, an observation tower and canopy walkway offer outstanding chances for birding and wildlife watching.
