The Norfolk Hotel
No other hotel in Kenya captures as much of Nairobi's splendid past and exciting present, and few hotels anywhere can claim a more romantic history. Adventurous visitors such as 26th American President Theodore Roosevelt, Lord Baden-Powell, the Earl of Warwick, Lord and Lady Cranworth, and the Baron and Baroness von Blixen have all been part of the Hotel’s history. Today, the Hotel boasts 167 luxurious guest rooms, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, a ballroom, elegant public areas and the choice of four dining venues.
Loldia House
Loldia House is nestled under acacia trees on one of the country’s oldest farms. It was built during World War II and has breathtaking views of the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and the tranquil Lake Naivasha. Accommodation is comprised of four en suite double rooms within the main house, and a further three rooms within the separate cottage equipped with its own lounge, fireplace and panoramic views.
Mara Explorer Camp
Mara Explorer is situated on a broad, thickly forested bend of the Talek River in the middle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, a prime spot to view the famous wildebeest migration between June and September. This exclusive five-star camp offers ten luxurious, well-spaced tents, each with its own private deck overlooking the Talek River. All of the tents are furnished in a classic blend of ancient and modern, with fine hand-carved mahogany furniture, rich African artifacts, and luxurious bathrooms with twin basins and all modern amenities.
Kirawira Camp
Kirawira is situated on a hilltop that overlooks the vast plains of the Western Serengeti. The building style and furniture reflect the Victorian era and the open-sided architecture of public areas keep the guests constantly in touch with nature. The dining room, lounge and bar area are situated in a large tent with raised wood flooring. Each of the 25 tents have a sweeping view of the Serengeti plains, en suite bathrooms with shower and a private balcony.
Ngorongo Crater Lodge Ngorongoro Crater Lodge stands high on the southwestern rim of the crater. The lodge offers three adjacent camps with 30 suites perched on stilts. Each stone and thatch suite has spectacular views of the crater from large glass windows. The North and South camps have 12 suites each, while the intimate Tree Camp has six suites. The three exclusive camps operate independently, each with a central living area and viewing deck overlooking the crater. African cuisine is served in the outdoor dining area near a log fire, or in the dining room.
