Shergarh Tented Camp, Kanha
Set amongst woodland overlooking a lake, Shergarh is a new and exclusive camp providing tented accommodation at the southern edge of the pristine Kanha Tiger Reserve.  Six cozy tents are individually spaced inside a wooded grove to provide privacy. Each has a large front verandah and an attached bathroom with piping hot showers. Thatched roofs house each tent and are watered in the hot months to ease off rising temperatures.  Wholesome Indian and Continental food prepared from home-grown vegetables, local produce and fish farmed from the lake is served in the Main House. Surrounded by deep verandahs, the house looks out on to an array of bird life displaying on the water, and serves as a central meeting point to exchange stories around an open fire, or to relax quietly with a book from the library.



Kipling Camp, Kanha

Kipling Camp was established in 1982 on the edge of Kanha Tiger Reserve in Central India. The camp is open to naturalists, conservationists and those who wish to relax in idyllic surroundings. Kipling Camp is a simple and comfortable Resort offering enjoyable stay and nourishing cuisine.   The focal point of the camp is the Shamiana , where guests enjoy indoor and outdoor dining.  Accommodation is in comfortable two- to four-room cottages, each with its own verandah offering views around the camp. Each room is furnished with two beds, a tiled en-suite bathroom with shower, shelves and hanging area for clothes. Heaters and hot water bottles are available in the winter, and room coolers in the summer.

There are no fences or barriers segregating Kipling Camp from its environment, and the Camp is constantly visited by spotted deer and langur monkeys, enjoying a quick drink at the water holes. Jackals, wolves and even leopards occasionally pad by.



Mewar Ketkiya Camp, Bandhavgarh
Camp Mewar on Ketkiya is set in a thickly wooded ten acre plot, sharing a common boundary with the Bandhavgarh  tiger reserve on its south. The camp gets its name from the 'Ketkiya Nala', a stream which trickles along its edge. Tigers are usually in residence at Ketkiya.  A picturesque drive over perennial streams, through fields and hutments, the camp is a mere fifteen minutes drive from the park entrance.   The 'Aodhis' (cottages in the design of hunting towers of the erstwhile rulers of Mewar) are close together overlooking a grassland. They are quite spacious including a dressing area and bath. The 'Aodhis' include a walled in courtyard ideal for camp-fires and a terrace to enjoy the starlight nights or wide expanses of rural India.



Trident Hilton Agra
Trident Hilton Agra is set amidst beautiful gardens and is only a few minutes walk away from the famous Taj Mahal. The hotel is built of the red stone reminiscent of the Mughal era, designed around a landscaped central courtyard with swimming pool and fountains.  The deluxe room with garden and pool views includes a seating area with sofa and a marble bathroom.







Laxmi Vilas Palace, Bharatpur
Set amidst 50 sprawling  acres, and surrounded by undulating, yellow mustard fields, the Laxmi Vilas Palace was built in 1887 for Raja Ragunath Singh, the younger brother of the then Bharatpur ruler, Maharaja Ram Singh. The palace, which was converted to a hotel in 1994, is an eclectic and lively fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Spacious and airy rooms open out into the inner courtyard with marble fountain, enchanting cupolas and sunny courtyard. Laxmi Vilas Palace includes comfortably appointed rooms, period décor and antique furniture.  All rooms include attached bath, running hot and cold water, direct dial telephone and color satellite television.
