S/V Rembrandt van Rijn

RVR sailing

S/V Rembrandt Van Rijn is a three masted schooner, originally built as a herring lugger until she was rebuilt as a passenger ship. Most recently refurbished in 2011, S/V Rembrandt Van Rijn is a veteran of Spitsbergen and the Galapagos Islands.

The ship is well suited for expedition cruising among small islands and offers excellent open deck viewing areas, even when under sail. She carries two Zodiacs for landing and wildlife viewing opportunities. She is staffed by an English speaking crew of 12, including 2 guides.

At 168 feet, The Rembrandt van Rijn can accommodate 33 passengers in 16 twin and one triple cabin. All cabins have private showers and toilets; some have portholes.
