Cruise the Galapagos in one of two identical sister ships, the M/Y Eric or M/Y Letty.  Your trip starts with two nights in Quito, Ecuador, the World Heritage city that sits high in the Andes. You will stay at a charming local B&B hotel, located near Old Town in this historic city.  The day after your arrival, you'll be treated to a guided half day city tour of Quito.  Or, you can add on a day trip to the famous Otavalo Market.

On the third day, you fly to the Islands, board your ship, and spend 8 unforgettable days cruising and seeing wildlife literally found nowhere else in the world.

Holiday supplements are $225 per person. 

Package prices are USD and include: Three nights at a charming local bed and breakfast in Quito with breakfast, airport transfers, Quito city tour, cruise, meals while on cruise, use of kayaks, use of wet suits, and all guide services.

Not included: Round trip airfare to and from Galapagos, park entrance fee, transit fee, gratuities, airport departure taxes, visas or passports, laundry or personal items while on the ship, alcoholic beverages, air fare to and from your home, and travel insurance.

Round trip air to Galapagos from Quito or Guayaquil, park entrance fee and transit fee is $670 per person, subject to change.

The Otavalo Indian Market Day Trip

This day-long outing includes: a scenic three-hour drive from Quito, morning at Otavalo market, visit to the famous leatherwork village of Cotacachi, and a stop for lunch at beautiful Hacienda Cusin.

Price: $350 per person based on 2 traveling. 

All prices per person, based on double occupancy  Fuel tax surcharges may be applicable.

Registration

Deposit: $750 per person non-refundable deposit due at time of booking. 

Cancellation Policy: Non-refundable balance due 90 days prior to travel dates. 

Insurance: Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the running of this trip, we must adhere to the above policy. In addition, please be aware that many insurance policies do not cover illness and accident expenses outside of the U.S., and Medicare does NOT cover any such expenses at all. In light of this, we strongly recommend trip cancellation and supplemental insurance.

A travel insurance quote will be sent to you upon registration. Our insurance carrier is Travel Guard.

 

Vessel:

The Eric and Letty are sister yachts custom-designed for Galapagos cruising. Both were built in 1991 and are refurbished annually, making them among the most attractive ships in the Galapagos. Each accommodates no more than 20 guests and feature three decks of spacious staterooms with polished teak interiors trimmed with shiny brass fittings. Cabins include ten double outside-facing cabins with a window or porthole view, one double bed or two twin lower beds. All cabins are air-conditioned and have private baths with showers. The ships also feature a spacious dining room, well-stocked bar and conference area with a flat screen TV, library and panoramic picture windows. On deck, relax on the sun deck in your lounge chair as you cruise the the magical islands.
