M/Y Galapagos Sea Star Journey

Priced from $6,395 2018   Days: 8

Your Galapagos package cruise aboard the newly refurbished Galapagos Sea Star starts with two nights in Quito, Ecuador, the World Heritage city that sits high in the Andes. You will stay at the charming La Rabida, located near Old Town in this historic city.  The day after your arrival, you're invited on a complimentary guided half day city tour of Quito. Or, add on a day trip to the Otavalo Market where you can shop for high quality hand crafted items.

On the third day, you'll fly from Quito to Santa Cruz or San Cristobel, depending on your itinerary.  There, you'll board the 135 foot, 16 passenger Galapagos Sea Star.  It features 9 spacious suites with twin or king beds, some of which connect, making them suitable for families.  All suites feature panoramic windows to showcase the spectacular views.  You will enjoy local and international dishes prepared by the Sea Star chef, and you are welcome to join the chef in the kitchen to learn how to prepare local specialties, like fresh Ecuadorian ceviche.

Other ship amenities include a large solarium with shaded and open areas, two Jacuzzis, comfortable sun loungers and a mini spa offering therapies and massages. The Grand Odyssey is equipped for fun, with complementary snorkeling equipment and kayaks available for guests.

At the end of your Galapagos cruise, we'll return you to Quito, where you'll have one last opportunity to savor the rich culture of this South American city.
